มหาวิทยาลัยบริสตอล (University of Bristol) ก่อตั้งในปี 1876 เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่เก่าแก่อีกแห่งหนึ่งของสหราชอาณาจักร ตั้งอยู่ใจกลางเมือง Bristol ซึ่งเป็นเมืองร่วมสมัย ผสมผสานกันระหว่างสถาปัตยกรรมเก่าแก่และความโมเดิร์นเข้าไว้ด้วยกันอย่างลงตัว University of Bristol ได้รับการจัดให้อยู่ในอันดับต้น ๆ ของมหาวิทยาลัยที่เข้ายากที่สุดในประเทศอังกฤษ เนื่องจากได้รับการยกย่องทางด้านคุณภาพการสอน (Quality of Teaching), ความพึงพอใจของนักเรียน (Student Satisfaction) และ อัตราการถูกจ้างงานหลังเรียนจบ (Employability) ที่ค่อนข้างสูง และจากการจัดอันดับของ QS World University Rankings ที่ได้ยกย่องให้ University of Bristol เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่ดีที่สุดเป็นอันดับที่ 61 ของโลกในปี 2023 นอกจากนี้ ยังอยู่ใน Top 100 ของทุกสำนักที่จัดอันดับมหาวิทยาลัยที่ดีที่สุดในโลก ไม่เพียงเท่านี้ มหาวิทยาลัยบริสตอลยังถูกจัดอับดับอยู่ในลำดับที่ 32 ของ Best Global Universities in Europe และ Top 10 ของ Best Global Universities ในสหราชอาณาจักรอีกด้วย
