Education Counsellor
📍 Location: Bangkok, Thailand
⏰ Employment Type: Full-time
The Role
As an Education Counsellor, you will guide students and their families through the process of choosing and applying to universities in Australia and the UK. You will develop a strong understanding of the higher education system, university courses and admission requirements, and use this knowledge to provide students with personalised advice based on their academic background, interests, career goals and budget.
You should be comfortable working in a relationship-led environment, where long-term trust and reputation are valued alongside achieving commercial and performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling
- Advise students and parents on studying abroad, including universities, courses, entry requirements, locations and costs.
- Understand each student’s academic background, interests and career aspirations to recommend appropriate study options.
- Support students in making informed decisions about their university and course choices.
- Provide guidance on undergraduate and postgraduate study options.
Nurturing
- Actively work through new and existing leads to identify genuine prospective applicants, understand their study plans and move suitable students towards application.
- Proactively contact prospective students by phone, LINE and other channels to build relationships, uncover opportunities and maintain momentum.
- Manage student applications from initial enquiry through to offer and enrolment.
- Liaise with universities and admissions teams regarding applications, offers, scholarships and enrolment.
- Maintain accurate records of student applications and progress.
- Support preparation and planning for student visa applications
Relationship Management
- Build strong and professional relationships students, parents and university representatives
- Develop long-term relationships with students and families that may lead to future referrals.
- Attend agent training sessions, education fairs and student recruitment events.
- Support university representatives during presentations and promotional activities.
- Represent One Education Consulting professionally when working with university partners.
Job Requirements
- Fluent Thai speaker and strong English communication skills
- Educated to minimum bachelor’s degree level; overseas study experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to students and parents.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously.

Content & Community Manager
📍 Location: Bangkok, Thailand

The Role
As our Content & Community Manager, you will build and manage a network of One Education students studying in Australia and turn their real experiences into authentic, useful short-form content.
Approximately 70% of the role will focus on finding and managing student contributors, maintaining strong relationships, encouraging regular participation, and lightly editing and packaging the best content using One Education templates.
Approximately 30% of the role will involve creating content in Thailand, including filming with counsellors, university representatives, visiting partners and students, and capturing content at events.
Success in the role means building a reliable flow of authentic student content in students’ own voices, rather than heavily scripting or over-producing it.
Key Responsibilities
Student Creator Community
- Identify and recruit current students in Australia and build strong, ongoing relationships across different universities, cities, courses and student profiles.
- Maintain regular contact with contributors, proactively follow up and encourage repeat participation.
- Provide clear themes, prompts and practical filming guidance while allowing students to speak naturally in their own voice.
- Identify new contributors through One Education counsellors, student referrals, university partners and the wider student network.
- Maintain organised contributor records, including university, city, course, previous contributions and permissions.
- Develop recurring themes such as university and course experience, student life, accommodation, living costs, working while studying, settling in and advice for future students.
- Review submissions for relevance, accuracy, quality and suitability, selecting the strongest content rather than over-directing or scripting contributors.
- Lightly edit selected content, including trimming, captions, subtitles, simple graphics, branding and basic audio adjustments.
- Package content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook and other channels, and reuse strong material across website, email, events and campaigns.
- Work towards an initial target of approximately 15 approved student videos per month.
Content Production in Thailand
- Film and produce content with One Education counsellors, university representatives, visiting partners and students in Thailand.
- Capture interviews, Q&As, explainers, university features and event content.
- Attend relevant events, exhibitions, seminars and university visits to identify and capture useful content opportunities.
- Edit locally produced content for publication and coordinate external freelance photographers, videographers or content creators when higher-production content is required.
Content Planning & Performance
- Work with the marketing and counselling teams to identify priority themes and translate them into practical prompts for student contributors.
- Maintain a forward content calendar aligned with student recruitment priorities.
- Track monthly content output, active and repeat contributors, representation across cities and universities, engagement and reach.
- Identify which themes and formats generate meaningful engagement, enquiries and prospective applicants, and use the results to improve future content activity.
Job Requirements
- Fluent Thai speaker and strong English communication skills
- Educated to minimum bachelor’s degree level
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to approach students, maintain regular contact and encourage participation over time
- Experience in content creation, social media, digital marketing, communications or a related field
- Strong short-form video editing skills and confidence using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar, including captions, subtitles and platform-specific formatting
- Good basic photography and videography skills, with the ability to turn student-shot footage into polished, publishable content without over-producing it
- Previous experience studying or living overseas is preferred, particularly in Australia or another major international study destination
- Portfolio showcasing relevant work in content creation, social media, photography, or videography is required.
