What are the reasons you decided to go to study in Australia rather than in Thailand?

I spent three years in Thailand where I got to finish my secondary education and really enjoyed my time there. When it came to the time that I need to decide where to go for university, I thought it would be nice if I could have a change of environment. Having been to Australia twice before and really enjoyed my time there, I decided to go study in Australia. An Australian degree is also well recognized internationally.

Why did you choose this course?

I chose the course because it is an elite program provided by the ANU that would equip me with the necessary quantitative skills in Finance, Economics and Statistics desired by the employers. I really like the course structure as it is kind of in a way allowing me to take on three majors. The course would also lead me straight to an honours degree in the end.

What are the university’s strong points that made you choose to study here?

The Australian National University is one of the best universities in Australia being one of the prestigious Group of 8 universities. The quality of education that you would receive is pretty much guaranteed to be world class. I was seriously considering University of Melbourne at first. But looking back, I am glad that I chose the ANU over UniMelb as I now get to have a campus life that wouldn’t really been possible if I went to a bustling metropolis like Melbourne instead of Canberra. Canberra has got that perfect balance between having what you would expect of a city and still having nature so close to you.

How do you know about us? And how did our team help you to study in Australia?

I got to know One Education from a friend that was also going to apply for Australian universities. She told me that there would be an interview program where there will be all the Go8 universities and most importantly I can get application fees waived. I ended up going to the event and applied to several different universities. It has been a lot of help that I received since then from P’Orn of the team at One Education and I really appreciated it. We met several times during which she explained to my parents and I everything that was to be expected for me studying in Australia and took us through the visa application process. My university application would definitely not have been so smooth if I applied on my own. A lot of help has been provided to me since the beginning and even up till today I am still keeping in touch with P’Orn and I am sure she would do her best to help me out if I ever have any future problems.
