Macquarie University, located in Sydney, one of Australia’s fastest-growing business hubs, offers more than 200 programmes across Business, Science, Engineering, Humanities, Arts, Media and Communications, Medicine, and Health Sciences. For the 2027 intake, Macquarie University is offering two scholarships for international students. The best part is that eligible students may be able to receive both scholarships simultaneously, providing even greater financial support throughout their studies.

1. ASEAN $10,000 Early Acceptance Scholarship

• Scholarship Value: AUD 10,000 per year
• Study Level: Undergraduate and Postgraduate
• Eligibility Criteria
  • Must be an international student and hold citizenship from an eligible ASEAN country or region specified by the university (contact One Education for eligibility details).
  • Must receive an offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate programme commencing in 2027.
  • Must accept the offer and pay the required deposit within the specified timeframe.
• This scholarship is not available for the following programmes: Graduate Certificates, Bachelor of Clinical Science, Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Honours), Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Physiotherapy, Master of Clinical Audiology, Master of Clinical Psychology, Master of Clinical Neuropsychology, Master of Organisational Psychology, Master of Professional Psychology, and Master of Speech and Language Pathology.
• Automatic scholarship assessment (no separate application required).

2. Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship

• Scholarship Value: Up to AUD 10,000 (first year only)
• Study Level: Undergraduate and Postgraduate
• Eligibility Criteria
  • Must be an international student who has received an offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate programme commencing in 2027.
  • Must meet the minimum academic requirements specified by the university (contact One Education for grade requirements).
  • Available to students of all nationalities and across eligible programmes.
• Application required through the university scholarship application form.
