MSc Clinical Dermatology at King’s College London

    King’s College London is one of the oldest universities in England, founded in 1839. It is located in London Zone 1 and is the second largest university in the UK, currently hosting over 19,000 students across five main campuses. The university’s postgraduate students come from over 140 countries. The Clinical Dermatology program is taught at Guy’s Campus, home to the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine and the Dental Institute. This campus is situated near The St John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s Hospital, and St Thomas’ Hospital, where students will have opportunities to study and conduct clinical research. Additionally, St Thomas’ Hospital houses a museum dedicated to Florence Nightingale and various medical seminar rooms.

    Teaching Format

    MSc Clinical Dermatology at Cardiff University

    Cardiff University is located in the vibrant city center of Wales and is a member of the UK’s Russell Group, a prestigious group of leading universities known for their high standards in teaching and world-class research across various fields. The main campus is surrounded by beautiful scenery, featuring tree-lined paths and historic architecture, including stunning stone buildings.     This program is taught at the School of Medicine within the Welsh Institute of Dermatology at the University Hospital of Wales. Cardiff University offers a diverse range of core subjects such as:

    Teaching Format
    The university’s program is divided into two stages: the Teaching Stage and the Dissertation Stage.

    Teaching Stage
    This stage lasts 8 months and consists of 6 modules, each worth 20 credits, totaling 120 credits. Classes are held every weekday (Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays). This stage focuses mainly on practical skills training. Students will be assigned to work at the Dermatology Day Treatment Unit on a day-return basis for 1 to 2 weeks and will regularly attend outpatient dermatology clinics in Cardiff and surrounding areas. Additionally, students will visit other dermatology centers across Wales on day trips.

    Dissertation Stage
    The dissertation is worth 60 credits and takes approximately 4 months to complete. The dissertation length is capped at 20,000 words.

    • IELTS score of 7.0 overall, with Writing no less than 6.5 and other skills no less than 6.0.

    MSc Clinical Dermatology at University of Hertfordshire

    University of Hertfordshire is a public university located in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. It’s just a 25-minute train ride from London. The town is quiet, safe, and ideal for study.
