Please tell us about yourself – what course and institute did you study before going to the UK?
I studied Sports and Exercise Science at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Why did you choose to study in the UK?
During my undergraduate studies, I developed strong academic skills, including how to conduct research systematically, analyse and interpret academic papers, and apply evidence-based knowledge. These skills have helped me move closer to becoming an expert in my field.

Beyond academics, Manchester Metropolitan University placed great emphasis on practical sessions and seminars, where we could apply theory, exchange ideas, and test concepts in real situations. This experience motivated me to continue my studies in the UK.

Why did you choose this university and what is your memorable experience at the university?
I chose Leeds Beckett University because, after reviewing the course content and opportunities, I felt that it would help me further develop my expertise in this field.

My classmates are very friendly and approachable, and I always enjoy conversations with them, even when I sometimes struggle to catch everything. The lecturers are highly knowledgeable in their respective areas, which makes learning very exciting. At the same time, there is a level of pressure to maintain high standards in my own work, which I see as a positive challenge.

Why did you choose this course?
I chose MSc Strength and Conditioning because I have been interested in this field since completing my undergraduate degree. Once I knew the direction I wanted to pursue, it became easier to research suitable courses and evaluate what each programme offers in terms of knowledge and experience.

One Education was very helpful in providing additional information that I might have overlooked.

How will your degree help your future career after graduation?
The programme is closely aligned with the professional qualifications I plan to pursue in the future. The curriculum, including practical sessions, is designed to prepare me for working in this field by building both knowledge and hands-on experience.

If I need support in any area, I can also consult with the lecturers directly.

What did you like the most about our service and your counsellor?
One Education supported me in many ways, even while I was still working. They assisted with my visa, documentation, accommodation, and provided advice when I first arrived in the UK.

I am very grateful for their support, as without them, the process would have been much more challenging.
