Murdoch College is the official Direct Pathway provider for Murdoch University, offering foundation and preparatory programmes for international students progressing to undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Programmes available include General English, English for Academic Purposes (EAP), Foundation Studies, the Murdoch University Preparation Course (MUPC), and the newest addition, the Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP), designed specifically for students planning to pursue a master’s degree.

What is the Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP)?

The Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) is designed for international students who do not yet meet the direct entry requirements for a master’s degree at Murdoch University, need additional academic preparation before starting their postgraduate studies, or wish to strengthen their English and academic skills. The program runs for one trimester (14 weeks), allowing students to commence their studies in January, April, or September.

Entry Requirements and Tuition Fees

Applicants for the PQP must meet the following requirements: IELTS overall score of 5.5, Minimum score of 5.0 in each band and Academic qualifications that meet Murdoch University’s entry requirements. The 2026 tuition fee for the program is AUD 14,750, approximately THB 354,000.*

Are Scholarships Available?

Murdoch College offers scholarships for international students commencing studies in 2026, including:

• English Support Scholarship 100% – A full tuition scholarship for students enrolling in English for Academic Purposes 1 (EAP1).
• Academic Program Scholarship 20% – A tuition fee reduction of 20% for eligible students.

*Tuition fee calculations are based on an exchange rate of AUD 1 = THB 24 as of June 2026.
