One Education has exciting scholarship news for students looking to study in the UK for the September 2026 intake. This scholarship is funded by the UK government for international students under the name “GREAT Scholarships”. What are GREAT Scholarships?
GREAT Scholarships are scholarships for international students from more than 14 countries worldwide to study Master’s degrees at universities in the United Kingdom across a range of subjects. Each scholarship is worth £10,000. The programme is jointly supported by the UK government through the GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council. Students who receive this scholarship will also be invited to attend welcome events and networking activities.

How can you apply for GREAT Scholarships?
First, students who wish to apply for GREAT Scholarships must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Thai national
- Hold a bachelor’s degree and demonstrate strong motivation and interest in the chosen programme
- Meet the academic requirements set by the university
- Meet the English language requirements set by the university
- Be willing to participate in GREAT Scholarship events
- Be willing to act as a GREAT Scholarship ambassador
- Be willing to share study abroad experiences in the UK as a GREAT Scholarship recipient
Once you have checked that you meet the eligibility requirements, students can apply through the One Education team and submit a scholarship application directly to the university. Be sure to carefully check the scholarship deadlines, as each university has different closing dates. Once the university receives the application, shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly by the university.
