1. Set Your Goals Before Attending the Fair 

Before attending the study abroad event, it’s important to have a clear plan. Decide on the country you’d like to study in, such as the UK or Australia, as well as the faculty or program you’re interested in. Consider your budget and whether you’d like to apply for scholarships.

2. Research Universities and Programs in Advance 

You can find detailed program information on the websites of universities you’re interested in, or check out basic university information on the One Education website. After that, make a list of universities you’d like to talk to, along with the programs that catch your interest. Additionally, you can check the basic entry requirements like GPA, IELTS scores, or work experience on the university websites.

Some universities even waive the application fee during the event (feel free to ask One Education’s cousellors for a list of universities offering this waiver).

• Proof of Graduation – Required 
• IELTS/TOEFL Scores

💚 Tip: Australian universities in the Group of Eight will operate on a first-come, first-served basis for queueing at the booth. We recommend you arrive early to secure a ticket, as these universities are very popular, and queues may fill up before the event ends. 

5. Ask as Many Questions as Possible 

Once you meet the university representatives, be sure to ask as many questions as you need to clear up any uncertainties, such as: 

• Who is this program suitable for? Do I need a specific background? Can I apply if my previous degree isn’t in the same field? 
• After graduation, is there an opportunity to stay and work in the country?
• Are there any alumni networks for international students or internship opportunities during the program? 

💚 Tip: Ask specific questions, like: What does your MBA program specialize in, and what companies can I intern with? 

6. Don’t Forget to Collect Contact Information 

Before leaving, be sure to ask for the university staff’s email or business card, and take a photo of any QR codes or brochures from the university to read more information later. 

💚 Tip: After the event, send a thank-you email or follow up with any further questions to show your interest in the university.
