University of Tasmania (UTAS) is a well-known university with a strong reputation for teaching and research. 1. Tasmanian International Merit Scholarship

Scholarship Value: 30% tuition fee reduction
Study Level: Undergraduate and postgraduate
Eligibility Requirements:

• Be an international student applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University of Tasmania and commencing studies in 2027.
• Receive an Offer from the University.
• Have a strong academic record.
• This scholarship cannot be combined with other scholarships.
• No separate application is required. Eligible students will be automatically assessed for the scholarship when they submit their application to the University.

2. Tasmanian Access Scholarship

Scholarship Value: 20% tuition fee reduction
Study Level: Undergraduate and postgraduate
Eligibility Requirements:

• Be an international student applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University of Tasmania and commencing studies in 2027.
• Have a strong academic record.
• This scholarship cannot be combined with other scholarships.
• No separate application is required. Eligible students will be automatically assessed for the scholarship when they submit their application to the University.

3. ASEAN Scholarships

Scholarship Value: 15% tuition fee reduction
Study Level: Undergraduate and postgraduate
Eligibility Requirements:

• Be an international student from an ASEAN member country applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University of Tasmania and commencing studies in 2027.
• The following programs are excluded:
  • Bachelor of Nursing (Hobart and Launceston)
  • Master of Laboratory Medicine
  • Online programs
• This scholarship cannot be combined with other scholarships.
• No separate application is required. Eligible students will be automatically assessed for the scholarship when they submit their application to the University.

4. Tasmanian Aurora Excellence Scholarship

Scholarship Value: 50% tuition fee reduction
Study Level: Undergraduate and postgraduate

Eligibility Requirements:

• Be an international student applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University of Tasmania and commencing studies in 2027.
• Receive an Offer from the University.
• Students who meet the eligibility criteria may be invited by the University to apply for the scholarship. The application process includes:
  • Completing the scholarship application form.
  • Writing a 300–500-word Personal Statement.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview.

Application Deadlines:

• Semester 1, 2027: 30 September 2026
• Semester 2, 2027: 30 April 2027
