James Cook University (JCU) is an Australian research university. It was officially established in 1970 and currently has campuses in Brisbane, Cairns, and Townsville, as well as an international campus in Singapore.

In terms of academic reputation, JCU is ranked among the Top 500 universities in the world and Top 30 in Australia according to the QS World University Rankings 2027. JCU International Excellence Scholarship

Scholarship value: 25% tuition fee reduction
Study level: Undergraduate and postgraduate
Eligibility criteria:

• Be an international student commencing studies in 2027
• Have a strong academic record
• No separate scholarship application is required. Eligible students will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
• The scholarship is not available for Diploma programs, End-on Honours degrees, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Graduate Certificates, Graduate Diplomas, or online programs.
