Campuses 

Deakin University has five campuses – Melbourne Burwood, Geelong Waurn Ponds, Geelong Waterfront, Warrnambool and Online Campus. 

• Melbourne Burwood 

This is the main campus of Deakin University, located in Burwood, a large suburb close to the centre of Melbourne’s eastern transport hub. The campus is easily accessible by public transportation and offers a friendly and welcoming environment with a variety of amenities and facilities. 

• Geelong Waurn Ponds 

This campus is located in a rural area near the beach, about 1 hour and 10 minutes’ drive from Melbourne. It is known for its first-class amenities and is home to faculties of nursing, medicine, engineering, science, IT, sports, and arts.

• Geelong Waterfront  

This campus is located in the heart of Geelong’s business district on Corio Bay. Its buildings reflects classic architecture and design, and the campus can be reached from Melbourne by car in just about 1 hour and 10 minutes. 

• Warrnambool Campus 

This campus is located on the banks of the Hopkins River, it is about 3 hours and 35 minutes drive from Melbourne. Despite its relatively rural location, it offers modern amenities and cutting-edge research facilities.
