Please tell us about yourself – what course and institute did you study before going to Australia?
I completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Science at Chulalongkorn University.

Why did you choose to study in Australia?
Firstly, I wanted to study in an English-speaking country to improve my language skills and ensure I could fully engage with my studies. I also prefer a country with a multicultural environment, beautiful nature, and convenient travel to and from Thailand. In addition, the strong global rankings of Australian universities influenced my decision.

Why did you choose this university and what is your memorable experience at the university?
I wanted to pursue a research-based programme, and University of Melbourne is highly recognised for its research output and publications in Australia. The programme I was interested in is ranked number one in the country.

Additionally, the university offers scholarships that cover both tuition fees and living expenses, which was an important factor in my decision.

Why did you choose this course?
I chose to study a Doctor of Philosophy (Science) because it provides opportunities to explore new technologies in research that are not yet widely studied in Thailand.

How will your degree help your future career after graduation?
The research lab I joined focuses on human bioinformatics, which is a rapidly growing field. Studying here allows me to stay up to date with the latest technologies and collaborate with internationally recognised researchers.

What did you like the most about our service and your counsellor?
The team at One Education provided excellent support and responded very quickly. Since applying for a PhD involves many detailed steps and challenges, their attention to detail and ability to coordinate with the university efficiently were extremely helpful.
