Please introduce yourself – what did you study before going to the UK?
I completed my secondary education at Mater Dei School and graduated with a degree in Law from Chulalongkorn University.

Why did you choose to study in the UK?
I chose to study in the UK because of its strong reputation in law. There are also universities recognised by the Thai Bar, which allow graduates to return and sit for the bar examinations. I also really like the atmosphere of cities in the UK.

Why did you choose this university and what impressed you during your studies?
I chose to study at University of Essex because of its reputation in law. The environment is calm and not as busy as London, and Colchester is not far from London, making it easy to travel there by train.

I was very impressed with the teaching style. During seminars, lecturers often encouraged us to think critically by asking questions, which helped generate new ideas. I also really like the library. It has large glass windows with views of greenery outside, which makes studying feel more relaxing, especially during stressful periods.

Why did you choose this programme?
I chose to study LLM in International Trade Law because I previously interned at the Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court. I believe this field will be beneficial for my future career, and the programme is also recognised by the Thai Bar.

How has this course helped your career after graduation?
It has helped me gain a deeper understanding of legal structures, as well as how laws are applied in practice and whether they are effective in real situations.
