Please tell us about yourself – what course and institute did you study before going to Australia?
Hello! My name is Por, or Phaew. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, specialising in Painting, from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi.

Why did you choose to study in Australia?
I previously had the opportunity to do an internship in Australia during my undergraduate studies. After completing it, I set a goal to return there again, as I was really inspired by the art scene and the creative community I experienced.

Why did you choose this university and what impressed you during your studies?
One of the main reasons I chose University of Melbourne was because the Master of Art Curatorship programme is not available in Thailand.

The subjects offered in the course were also very appealing to me. What impressed me most was the university environment, which is simple and comfortable. Everything, from commuting to meeting friends, felt very supportive and allowed me to fully enjoy student life.

Why did you choose this course?
I chose the Master of Art Curatorship because the course structure helps develop a deeper understanding of art, including different perspectives and interpretations.

It is also taught by specialists who have real experience in curating, which makes the learning experience even more valuable.

How will your degree help your future career after graduation?
It might be a bit early to say exactly how, but I believe this programme will give me a strong understanding of galleries, museums, art history, and related fields.

This could help me manage a gallery, become a professional curator, or even pursue a career as a lecturer in the future.

What did you like the most about our service and your counsellor?
