Course: MSc Management

Institution: Brunel University London

Please introduce yourself – what did you study before going to the UK?
Hello, my name is Oui (but I go by Eva in the UK 😂). I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Kasetsart University (Bangkhen Campus).

Why did you choose to study in the UK?
After completing my undergraduate degree, I initially considered studying either in Thailand or abroad. In the end, I chose to study overseas because I wanted to gain both academic knowledge and life experience at the same time.

I chose the UK because Master’s programmes are shorter compared to other countries, and I also wanted to experience British culture firsthand.

Why did you choose this university and what impressed you during your studies?
I chose Brunel University London for several reasons:

Firstly, it is located in London, which makes travelling very convenient. The public transport system is excellent, whether within London, travelling to other cities, or even going abroad, as there are multiple airports nearby.

Secondly, Brunel is a campus university, which I really liked. During my undergraduate studies, I enjoyed joining clubs and activities, and Brunel offers a wide range of societies and facilities, including sports centres and activity clubs. I personally joined dance, rock climbing, and boxing clubs — it was such a fun experience! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, even as an international student.

The university also has on-campus accommodation, so everything is within walking distance. It’s very convenient and feels safe, even when returning late at night. This is definitely one of Brunel’s key strengths — being a campus university in London.

Why did you choose this programme?
I chose MSc Management because my background is in engineering. While engineering has helped me develop logical and analytical thinking, I wanted to expand my perspective into business, especially since my family runs a business.

I was interested in gaining new business ideas and thinking beyond an engineering mindset. I considered an MBA, but it requires work experience, so it wasn’t suitable for me at the time. MSc Management, however, allows direct entry after a Bachelor’s degree, which made it the right choice.

How has your degree helped your career after graduation?
This programme has broadened my perspective in business and introduced me to new ideas. I believe that in today’s job market, it’s important to have both technical skills and creative thinking.

With my engineering background, I already have technical skills, and this programme has helped me apply them in a business context. For example, I can pursue roles such as Data Analyst or Business Intelligence (BI), combining both skill sets.

How did our service and team help you with your study abroad journey?
One Education supported me in every possible way, starting from zero knowledge about studying abroad.

At first, I tried researching and applying on my own, but I found the process overwhelming, especially due to language barriers. I felt stressed and confused, even at the application stage.

That’s when I decided to contact One Education, after being introduced by a senior. From that point on, they guided me through every step — from choosing the right course and university, preparing documents, and even advising me on the IELTS exam.

They constantly encouraged me with messages like “You’re almost there” and “You can do it,” which meant a lot. Studying abroad involves many complex processes, but they explained everything clearly and step by step, what documents were needed, what stage I was at, and what to do next.

Since I applied during the COVID period, I had to take a pre-sessional course online in Thailand, and my CAS was delayed. The team followed up closely on my behalf. During the visa process, P’Otto guided me through every detail, ensuring everything was completed correctly.

Honestly, they have been everything I needed throughout this journey. Even now, as I’m close to graduating and still living in the UK, I continue to reach out to One Education for advice. Their support has been consistent from day one until now.

I’m truly grateful to the team for making this journey possible. ❤️
