Please tell us about yourself – what course and institute did you study before going to the UK?

My name is Mean. Before going to the UK, I graduated from the Royal Police Cadet Academy, Class 70.

Why did you choose to study in the UK?

I chose to study in the UK because universities there are internationally recognised and offer high-quality education. Studying in the UK also provides a good opportunity to improve my English skills and apply them in my professional career.

Why did you choose this institute and what is your memorable experience at the institute?

I chose the University of Leicester because it has a strong reputation for education. The cost of living in Leicester is quite affordable, and the city has a relatively low crime rate. It is also convenient to travel to London by train, which takes only about one hour.

Why did you choose this course?

I chose the MSc Criminology program because it is a one-year course and closely related to crime studies, which has been my interest since before I entered the Police Cadet Academy.

How will your degree help your future career after graduation?

This course is directly related to my career in the police field. The knowledge and skills I gained from the program will help me apply criminology concepts and insights to my work in the future.

What did you like the most about our service and your counsellor?

I received guidance and advice from P’Kob One Education from the beginning, starting with consultation about English tests through to submitting my university application.
