Please introduce yourself – what did you study before going to the UK?
I completed my high school education at Thammasat University Demonstration School.

Why did you choose to study in the UK?
I chose to study in the UK for three main reasons:

1. The university offers a course I was specifically interested in, BA Business Economics, which is quite rare to find abroad.
2. My school has an MOU with University of Essex, which provided me with certain advantages in applying.
3. The university has a high level of diversity, giving me the opportunity to meet international students from different backgrounds, perspectives, and cultures.

Why did you choose this university and what impressed you during your studies?
I chose to pursue my undergraduate degree at the University of Essex because of the MOU with my school, which made the application process more accessible. I also appreciate the peaceful and calm environment of both the university and the city.

Why did you choose this programme?
My initial interest was in starting my own business. However, I noticed that many students focus solely on business studies, which has led to a highly competitive job market filled with business graduates.

I wanted to find a way to differentiate myself, which led me to Economics. It provides a deeper understanding of the underlying structure of markets. By combining knowledge in both business and economics, I can approach business more strategically and gain a more rational understanding of market behaviour.

How has this course helped your career after graduation?
Applying both economics and business concepts throughout my studies has helped me develop a more experienced and analytical mindset. Whether I pursue a career as an employee or an entrepreneur, this perspective allows me to better understand market behaviour and make more informed decisions, rather than learning solely through trial and error.
