Founded in 1965, the University of Kent is one of the leading and most respected universities in the United Kingdom. Located in Canterbury, Kent, the university has been awarded Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) and has also been recognised for its strong research performance through the Research Excellence Framework (REF). An impressive 97% of the university’s research has been recognised as internationally excellent.
The University of Kent consistently achieves high levels of student satisfaction, with around 90% of students reporting positive experiences each year. Its main campus is located in Canterbury, with additional campuses in Medway and Tonbridge in England. The university also has international centres in Brussels, Athens, and Paris.
Kent is conveniently located close to London and mainland Europe. With easy access via the Channel Tunnel through Dover, it is a popular destination for international students who wish to explore other European cities while studying in the UK.

Kent Business School
Kent Business School holds the prestigious Triple Crown Accreditation, an achievement earned by only around 1% of business schools worldwide. The Triple Crown consists of accreditation from: European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), Association of MBAs (AMBA) and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Many programmes within Kent Business School are also accredited by professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Management, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Kent Business School offers a wide range of programmes, with some of the most popular choices among international students including:

Law School
The University of Kent’s Law School is highly regarded among international students and has built a strong reputation for legal education over many years. The school places significant emphasis on practical learning and offers a wide range of specialist programmes that prepare students for careers requiring legal expertise. Most LLM programmes begin in September each year. However, recognising that many students may be pursuing dual legal qualifications or have different study plans, the university also offers a January intake for selected postgraduate law programmes. This provides greater flexibility for students who may not be able to begin their studies in September. Several LLM programmes at the University of Kent are recognised by the Lawyers Council of Thailand, including:

- Master of Laws in Criminal Justice Law (formerly Master of Laws in Criminal Justice)
