Get to Know Regent’s University London
Regent’s University London, often simply called Regent’s, is a private non-profit university located in London. Founded in 1980, it is considered a relatively young university that has become popular among students from around the world. The university is well known for several fields including Business, Fashion and Design, Arts, Psychology, and Liberal Arts.

Highlights of Regent’s University London
1. Located in the Heart of London
The university is located in Zone 1 of central London, in the area of Regent’s Park and Marylebone. This location is known for being beautiful and vibrant, surrounded by green spaces in the city center. Students can conveniently travel to campus and enjoy studying in one of London’s most attractive environments.
2. Well Known for Student Support
Regent’s has approximately 3,500 students each year, with most being international students from over 140 countries worldwide. The university focuses strongly on delivering high-quality education. To ensure students receive close academic guidance, class sizes are kept small: Seminar classes: no more than 20–25 students and Tutorial classes: no more than 8–10 students. This allows students to receive personalized advice and attention from lecturers.
3. Work Experience and Internship Opportunities
Regent’s collaborates with numerous companies and businesses both in the UK and internationally. Executives from leading organizations are invited to share industry knowledge and real-world experience with students. The university also supports students in securing internships during their studies and developing career opportunities after graduation. In addition, Regent’s collaborates with Walpole, an organization representing British luxury brands such as: Harrods, McLaren Automotive, Dunhill, The Peninsula London. Through this partnership, CEOs and Managing Directors from these brands are invited to share insights and help students gain exposure to the luxury industry.
4. Global Alumni Network
Regent’s has many distinguished alumni, including internationally recognized figures and members of royal families. Examples include:
🔸Lady Kitty Spencer – niece of Princess Diana and a model and ambassador for brands such as Bulgari and Dolce & Gabbana

Introducing the MA Luxury Brand Management Programme
Regent’s University London has offered the Luxury Brand Management programme for more than 10 years and is recognized as the first university in the UK to launch this programme. The course also received the Pearson 2021 award for the Strategic Management of a Luxury Business module and is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Key Features of the MA Luxury Brand Management Programme
1. A Comprehensive Combination of Academics, Skills, Experience and Career Opportunities
Regent’s divides the programme content into three components across the three terms of the master’s programme, which makes it different from many other universities. The first component is the academic part, where students study foundational knowledge and theories related to management and business administration, progressing toward completing a project or dissertation. The second component focuses on skills and practical experience, including activities such as study visits, workshops, work simulations, guest speaker seminars, and internship opportunities. The final component focuses on professional development, including master classes, skill workshops, and alumni networking events, which help current students build valuable connections for their future careers.
2. Final Capstone Project Options Beyond a Traditional Dissertation
It is well known that master’s students are usually required to complete a dissertation in order to graduate. At Regent’s, in addition to the option of completing a dissertation, there are also other alternatives. One option is the Live Business Project, which gives students the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned to real organizations within the relevant industry. Another option is the New Venture Start-Up Project, which combines both research and practical application. In this project, students use their theoretical knowledge and personal experience to test and develop ideas within the luxury brand market.
3. A Wide Range of Modules
For the core modules, students will study subjects such as Financial Analysis for Managers, Luxury Marketing Management, Law and the Luxury Environment, Strategic Management of a Luxury Business, as well as Research Methods and the Final Capstone Project. In addition, there are interesting elective modules such as Digital Marketing and Analytics in Luxury and Fashion PR and the Fashion Show.
✳ Module offerings may vary each year. Students can check the latest available modules on the university’s website. Click here.
4. Career Support from the University
Students receive guidance from the university’s career support team starting from their first week of study. They will receive job updates from companies and businesses that partner with the university, and the university encourages students to gain internship experience and pursue career opportunities after completing the programme.
In addition, the university offers workshops throughout the year to help students prepare for job applications, such as CV writing, cover letter preparation, interview preparation, and building a LinkedIn profile.
One of Regent’s unique features is The Hive, a space that brings together both alumni and current students, providing opportunities to connect and develop business ideas. It functions as a co-working space that students can use, and also offers career guidance services for students who wish to start their own businesses.
Overall, Regent’s University London and the MA Luxury Brand Management programme offer a truly distinctive experience.
The programme has two application intakes, in September and January. Students who are interested in applying can contact the One Education team for further guidance and support.
