Coolangatta Beach

this surfer’s paradise takes only 30 minutes to travel from city centre. You can spend the day lounging on the soft sand or swimming and there are many shops and cafes just across the beach road. Moreover, kirting Coolangatta is a waterfront park and is a popular place for a walk and watching whales and dolphins.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

Explore a world heritage site that is a home of many species of birds. The highlight of this national park is the Natural Bridge which is formed by a spectacular rock formation from the force of a waterfall above the basalt caves. There is also Purling Brook Falls, a 100 meter waterfall, and Springbrook Plateau where you can see incredible views of waterfalls and rainforest, as well as another viewpoints where you can see the large Mount Warning volcano.

Springbrook National Park

Another national park that has been registered as a World Heritage Site. It is famous for its rainforest scenery, beautiful waterfalls and exotic wildlife. This national park is located in the lush mountains of the Border Ranges Mountains which is located on an ancient volcanic site. In addition, it is a paradise for over 190 species of birds.

A famous theme park that everyone won’t miss when visiting the Gold Coast. Burleigh Heads Beach

Swimming and surfing are popular activities at Burleigh Heads Beach. The white sand is surrounded by Norfolk pine and pandanus. There is a park which is not far from the beach where you can BBQ or picnic, and has a number of coffee shops and shops. One of the highlights of Burleigh is the beautiful hiking trails which you can get beach views and watch the migrating whales in the spring.
