Great Barrier Reef

A truly global symbol of the natural wonder The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest and longest coral reef system, stretching for 2,300 km, comprising 3,000 separate reefs and some 900 continental islands and coral cays. A 1.5-hour flight from Brisbane will land you in the middle of beautiful sandy beaches, exotic rainforest, and palm tree covered islands, from which you can explore this World Heritage Site.

Brisbane River

The Brisbane River is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, offering a wide range of exciting activities along its banks. Popular experiences include kayaking on the river, sightseeing cruises, including both free ferry services and luxury dinner cruises, as well as enjoying stunning sunset views from the Kangaroo Point Cliffs. Visitors can also walk or cycle along the Brisbane Riverwalk, a scenic riverside pathway stretching over 5 kilometers, making it a perfect spot for relaxation, exercise, and city sightseeing.

Mount Coot-tha

This popular viewpoint offers a panoramic view of the entire city of Brisbane and is open to visitors 24 hours a day. Nearby is the expansive Brisbane Botanic Gardens, covering more than 138 acres, featuring impressive glasshouse domes filled with plants and flowers as well as a beautiful Japanese-style garden. Story Bridge

Climb Brisbane’s Story Bridge for panoramic views across the city, north to the Glasshouse Mountains and south to the World Heritage-listed Gold Coast hinterland. If that isn’t enough of a thrill, you can keep the adrenaline going with an optional 30-metre (98-foot) abseil back down the anchor pier, facing the glistening river and cityscape

Brisbane was named Australia’s Hippest City by Lonely Planet, visit some of its many cultural scenes and you’ll understand why! Explore the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA), housed in two riverside buildings at South Bank. Brisbane also boasts an exciting live music scene. Streets Beach

Streets Beach is a South Bank icon and a must-visit while you’re exploring the 17-hectare South Bank Parklands. Australia’s only inner-city, man-made beach boasts a sparkling blue lagoon surrounded by white, sandy beaches and sub-tropical plants. Streets Beach is an oasis in the middle of Brisbane City. Streets Beach is located in the centre of the South Bank you can enjoy excellent food and drink from famous restaurants such as the South Bank Surf Club which are located directly on the beach.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Australia is famous for its unique wildlife, and there are few places you can enjoy better experiences with them than the world’s first and largest koala sanctuary. Meet a koala, hand-feed kangaroos and engage with a large variety of Australian wildlife in Lone Pine’s beautiful, natural settings. The park offers daily shows, feedings and activities, as well as the opportunity to walk through natural landscapes full of Australian wildlife without fences!

South Bank Park

South Bank is Brisbane’s premier lifestyle and cultural destination. Located on the southern banks of the Brisbane River, its 17 hectares of lush parklands, world-class restaurants, amazing river views and hundreds of all kinds of events all year round make it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
