University of Hull

University of Hull is one of the oldest universities in the United Kingdom, founded in 1927, and it ranks as the 14th oldest university in England. The university emphasizes the quality of education, as evidenced by its Gold rating from the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF 2023). In addition, the university is ranked among the Top 50 UK institutions for research excellence. 

Location 
University of Hull is located in the city of Hull, situated on the northeastern coast of England, with the River Hull flowing through it. Although Hull is a small city, it is vibrant with activities, from exhibitions of Picasso and Michelangelo, debates, theatre performances, to classical concerts. It also hosts the annual Freedom Festival, attracting over 30,000 people and more than 200 bands. 

Hull is a student-friendly city with an affordable cost of living. It is well-connected to other cities, with daily trains to London taking about 2.5 hours. Hull is the birthplace of Hull City AFC (the Tigers), Hull Kingston Rovers, and Hull FC, which are professional football and rugby teams in England.

The surrounding area offers a wide range of amenities, including a large shopping mall, restaurants, cafes, libraries, health centers, performance venues, and sports facilities. All of these are within a 10-minute walk from the campus. 

According to the National Student Survey, the University of Hull has a student satisfaction rate of 82.96%, and 97.9% of international students find employment or continue their studies within 6 months of graduation. The university also offers scholarships for international students.
