University of East Anglia, established in 1963 is a research-oriented university, known for high quality research into real world issues pioneering health related developments in cancer and dementia, to pressing environmental challenges with climate change and water security. UEA is consistently ranked among the top 25 of UK universities, this is an internationally renowned university with excellent facilities. Despite being a research-intensive university, they still received the TEF Gold award in the Government’s method for assessing the teaching quality delivered by higher education providers.
UEA’s four faculties provide research-led teaching in a range of subjects across the Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, and Medicine and Health Sciences. Students are encouraged to join in with debates and come up with original ideas; learning through a wide range of styles, from practical classes, small group seminars and large lectures.
