Royal Holloway, University of London is set across one of the most beautiful campuses in the world, on the outskirts of London, RHUL offers a safe and supportive campus community, with quick access to nations capital. The University was founded in 1879 by Thomas Holloway, an entrepreneur and philanthropist, 7 years later the College was opened as an all-women’s college, during which time the famous Founder’s Building had reached completion and still dominates the campus today.
In the Times University Guide 2021, RHUL was ranked 22nd overall in the UK. The University consistently performs well across subject rankings which include Geography, Drama, Psychology, Mathematics, Music, Media, Arts, and Modern Languages.
The campus is spread over 135 acres in Egham, Surrey. It’s located 19 miles from central London and 7 miles from Heathrow Airport. There are plenty of bars and cafés, teaching and study spaces, high-quality accommodation facilities and sports facilities (2 grass football pitches, a cricket pitch, an American football pitch, 5 netball courts and 8 tennis courts) all within walking distance on campus.
