Oxford Brookes University
Oxford Brookes University is located in Headington, Oxford, their founding year can be traced to 1865 as an art school and in 1992 it became Oxford Brookes University; named in honour of the former principal, John Henry Brookes. It is the only university in the UK to be listed in the QS top 50 institutions under 50 years old.
Oxford is fantastic student city – plenty of cultural heritage set among a vibrant, cosmopolitan atmosphere. Oxford Brookes University is based on three campuses in and around Oxford, all reachable by public transport. Conveniently, they have an inter-site bus service to move between the campuses. All campuses include libraries, 24-hour computer rooms, playing fields, shops, accommodation, social spaces and study areas.
The University comprises four faculties, including Business, Health and Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Technology, Design and Environment. The Hospitality and Leisure Management has been placed 9th int the QS world university rankings by subject, 2020. Also of note is the MBA which is among the top 20 in the world as reported by QS in 2019.
