Monash University Malaysia is the Malaysian campus of Monash University in Australia. Established in 1998, Monash University Malaysia is the third-largest campus of one of Australia’s biggest universities and is the first foreign university campus in Malaysia. 

Monash University is one of Australia’s leading research universities and a member of the Group of Eight. It is ranked 36th in the world by the QS World University Rankings 2026 and 58th globally by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026. 

As a self-accrediting university, the Malaysia campus offers a distinctly international and multicultural learning environment, with approximately 13,800 students from 91 countries around the world. 

Location 

Monash University Malaysia is located in Bandar Sunway, Malaysia, about 20 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur. Meanwhile, the Clinical School Johor Bahru (CSJB) is situated in Johor Bahru, in the southern part of Malaysia.
