London South Bank University was originally known as Borough Polytechnic Institute, founded in 1892 with the aim of promoting skills in industry, general knowledge, health, and well-being. This principle continues to be upheld to this day. 

Location 

London South Bank University is located in London, with two campuses: Southwark campus and Croydon campus. The Southwark campus is located at Elephant and Castle, which is the main campus, full of startup companies and world-renowned brands. The Croydon campus, which opened in 2022, is situated in an area with large businesses.
