Please introduce yourself – what did you study before going to the UK?
Hello, my name is Great. I completed a five-year Bachelor’s degree in Education, majoring in English, at Silpakorn University.

Why did you choose to study in the UK?
The main reason was the duration, as Master’s programmes in the UK take only one year. The UK education system also focuses on in-depth learning within each field, which suited me perfectly as I wanted to deepen my knowledge from my undergraduate studies. In addition, the academic environment, supportive system, and highly qualified lecturers were key factors in my decision.

Why did you choose this university and what impressed you during your studies?
University of Bristol is a well-established university and part of the Russell Group, with a strong overall reputation as well as in my field of study. Many lecturers in my programme are well-known researchers in their areas.

Bristol is also a charming and peaceful city, not too far from London, which made me feel safe and comfortable. These factors contributed significantly to my learning experience.

What impressed me most was the lecturers and the university itself. The lecturers are very supportive and treat students like family, which encouraged me to ask questions and fully express my abilities. The university also offers many activities and extra classes, helping students build a strong community and make friends from different countries.

Why did you choose this programme?
As I graduated in English language teaching, I wanted to further develop my knowledge both in depth and breadth. The programme includes many interesting subjects that I had not studied before, such as Neuroscience and Education and English and Globalisation.

I believe these subjects can help me enhance my knowledge and develop my professional skills. The course also combines both theoretical and practical learning, allowing me to gain a deeper understanding and apply what I learn to my future career.

How has this course helped your career after graduation?
This programme will support my career as an English teacher in the future. Before starting this course, I had around two years of teaching experience in Thailand.

The combination of prior experience and knowledge gained from this programme will help refine my skills and significantly contribute to my development as an English language educator.
