Course: Master of Engineering (Biomedical)
Institution: University of Sydney
Please tell us about yourself – what course and institute did you study before going to Australia?
Before going to Australia, I graduated with a degree in Engineering from Mahidol University.
Why did you choose to study in Australia?
I chose to study in Australia because I have always liked the country personally. It is a multicultural society, the universities are of a high standard, and I had previously spent a short time living there, so I felt I could settle in without having to adjust too much. English is used as the main language, which makes communication easier, and the public transport system is also quite extensive.
Why did you choose this institute and what is your memorable experience at the institute?
I chose the University of Sydney because it is ranked among the top eight universities in Australia as part of the Group of Eight, and it is also one of the top 100 universities in the world. The university has strong research technology, particularly in the health field, and provides comprehensive support for students in terms of academics, language, careers, activities for international students, and mental health.
Why did you choose this course?
I chose the Master of Engineering (Biomedical) programme because I wanted to build on the knowledge from my undergraduate degree.
How will your degree help your future career after graduation?
The faculty focuses on supporting students in developing both academic skills and practical skills. There are also subjects that help prepare students for working in the biomedical field, which will be very useful for my future career.
What did you like the most about our service and your counsellor?
P’Kob and One Education team helped me a great deal with my study abroad journey. Thanks to their experience, the application process was very smooth. They helped me prepare documents, plan my timeline, get ready before departure, and provided advice throughout the process. Even after I had started my course, P’Kob continued to follow up and give guidance on university matters and visa issues.
