Please tell us about yourself – what course and institute did you study before going to the UK?

Before going to the UK, I graduated from Srinakharinwirot University, Faculty of Fine Arts, majoring in Jewellery Design.

Why did you choose to study in the UK?

I wanted to explore my future career path and started by looking for a country and university that could provide effective knowledge and encourage creativity in design. I was also looking for a place with well-equipped facilities that would support learning new skills that I had not had the opportunity to develop during my studies in Thailand.

Why did you choose this institute and what is your memorable experience at the institute?

Sheffield is well known as one of the largest metal industry cities in the UK, and Sheffield Hallam University is particularly well known for its Jewellery and Metalwork programme.

Why did you choose this course?

The Jewellery and Metalwork programme is highly recognised for its focus on making and practical skills. After studying there for a while, I felt deeply impressed because it is rare to find a university with such complete facilities, tools, equipment, workshops, and dedicated technicians available to support students. There are workshops covering almost every artistic discipline, allowing students to practise and develop their skills freely. If you do not know how to use a particular machine or technique, you can simply ask the technicians, and they are always ready to help and teach you from the basics through to more advanced methods. It was truly one of the most outstanding learning environments I have experienced.

How will your degree help your future career after graduation?

The programme will definitely help open up many opportunities, especially in shaping my future career path and giving me diverse experiences that I can build upon.

What did you like the most about our service and your counsellor?

The service was excellent.
