Please tell us about yourself – what course and institute did you study before going to the UK?

Before going to the UK, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Geology at Chulalongkorn University.

Why did you choose to study in the UK?

I chose to study in the UK because the programmes are internationally recognised and most master’s degrees can be completed within one year. Studying in the UK also provides an opportunity to improve my English skills and gain international experience.

Why did you choose this institute and what is your memorable experience at the institute?

I chose Royal Holloway, University of London because it has a strong reputation in geoscience and is part of the University of London. The campus is also very beautiful and located not far from central London, making it convenient to travel and explore the city. One of the most memorable experiences was studying and working on group projects with classmates from many different countries, which helped broaden my perspective and allowed me to learn from different cultures.

Why did you choose this course?

I chose the MSc Energy Geosciences programme because it is closely related to my undergraduate background in geology and focuses on energy resources, which are important for the future of the global energy industry.

How will your degree help your future career after graduation?

This degree provides specialised knowledge in energy geoscience and helps develop analytical and research skills. These skills are important for working in the energy and natural resources sector in the future.

What did you like the most about our service and your counsellor?
