The Victorian Government has recently invested in advanced training programmes that allow pharmacists to prescribe medication for up to 22 common conditions, including asthma, nausea, ear infections, dermatitis, and Type 2 diabetes. Monash University’s Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences has been selected to lead the development of this pioneering programme, helping prepare pharmacists for expanded healthcare responsibilities.
