For the 2026/2027 academic year, La Trobe University offers the following scholarships for international students:

1. Early Acceptance Grant – International Students

Scholarship Value: AUD 2,000
Study Level: Undergraduate and Postgraduate
Eligibility Criteria:

• Open to international students applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate program at La Trobe University’s Victoria or Sydney campuses, commencing in 2026 or 2027.
• Applicants must have received their Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
• Applicants must accept their offer by the specified deadline.
• This scholarship can be combined with other eligible scholarships, subject to the University’s terms and conditions.

Application Deadlines:

• Term 5 & 6, 2026 (Summer Semester): 26 October 2026
• Semester 1, 2027: 22 February 2027
• Semester 2, 2027: 5 July 2027
• Summer Semester, 2027: 25 October 2027

2. La Trobe Vice-Chancellor Scholarship

Scholarship Value: 50% or 100% tuition fee reduction
Study Level: Undergraduate and Postgraduate
Eligibility Criteria:

• Open to international students applying for eligible undergraduate or postgraduate programs at La Trobe University’s Victoria campuses, commencing in 2026 only (deferral to 2027 is not permitted).
• Available for selected eligible courses only.
• Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.
• Applicants must have received an offer of admission from La Trobe University.
• Applicants are required to submit a scholarship application, including a minimum 250-word essay addressing the following topic:

“Beyond academic achievement, what specific difference do you hope to make in your field or community after completing your degree at La Trobe University?”

• This scholarship cannot be combined with any other La Trobe scholarship.
• Scholarship recipients are required to participate in the International Scholarship Program throughout their studies in Australia.

Application Deadline: 14 September 2026 (Summer Semester 2026)

3. La Trobe High Achiever Scholarship

Scholarship Value: 20% or 25% tuition fee reduction
Study Level: Undergraduate and Postgraduate
Eligibility Criteria:

• Open to international students applying for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate program at La Trobe University’s Victoria campuses, commencing in 2026 or 2027.
• Available to new international students who submit their application on or after 10 February 2026.
• Applicable to selected eligible courses only.
• Eligible applicants will be automatically assessed for the scholarship. No separate scholarship application is required.

Application Deadline: 31 December 2026

4. La Trobe Artificial Intelligence Scholarship

Scholarship Value: 30% tuition fee reduction
Study Level: Undergraduate and Postgraduate
Eligibility Criteria:

• Open to international students applying for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate program at La Trobe University’s Victoria or Sydney campuses, commencing in 2026 or Semester 1, 2027.
• Available for students enrolling in one of the following eligible programs:
  • Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Science
  • Bachelor of Laws (Honours) / Bachelor of Science
  • Bachelor of Science
  • Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Information Technology
  • Master of Artificial Intelligence
  • Master of Data Science
  • Master of Digital Health
  • Master of Information Technology
• Applicants must demonstrate strong academic achievement.
• Eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
• Scholarship recipients are required to participate in the International Scholarship Program throughout their studies in Australia.

Application Deadline: 22 February 2027

5. La Trobe Health Innovation Scholarship

Scholarship Value: 30% tuition fee reduction
Study Level: Postgraduate
Eligibility Criteria:

• Open to international students applying for an eligible postgraduate program at La Trobe University’s Victoria or Sydney campuses, commencing in 2026 or Semester 1, 2027.
• Available for students enrolling in one of the following eligible programs:
  • Master of Health Administration
  • Master of Public Health
  • Master of Digital Health
  • Master of Public Health / Master of Health Administration
• Applicants must demonstrate strong academic achievement.
• Eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
• Scholarship recipients are required to participate in the International Scholarship Program throughout their studies in Australia.
