Brisbane is the capital of Queensland – the Sunshine State – on the East Coast of Australia. It has been named the 9th most beautiful city in the world by Rough Guide, and is home to more than 95,000 international students. Brisbane also boasts some Australia’s best higher education providers, with three universities ranked in the top two percent globally. Brisbane is one of Australia’s fastest-growing cities for employment growth and offers a great range of opportunities in both the public and private sectors. Brisbane is also one of Australia’s most affordable cities, meaning it’s a lot cheaper studying here.

With sunny weather all year round, Brisbane is perfect for outdoor activities. The beautiful Brisbane river winds through the middle of the city, and it enjoys more sunny days than any other city in Australia. Brisbane is also a safe and welcoming city, hosting the Lord Mayor’s International Student Friendship Ceremony – which has extended the hand of friendship to more than 10,000 students.
